The Preparation for Work course is about you and your search for work. Through this course, we will attempt to give you advice relating to how to
go about preparing yourself for finding the right job, and then preparing yourself for the job interview if your application is successful.
The nature of this course is very interactive and practical. We will attempt to give you some basic guidelines upon which we will build on as a group,
so that when you leave the final session you will have gained an important skill. We cannot promise you that you will find employment. However, what we can promise is that if you follow these guidelines it will dramatically improve your opportunities for gaining an interview. If you prepare correctly then the chances of getting a job will greatly increase.
Remember – what you put into this course is what you will get out.
